Scope
These terms describe use of the Gujarati Community Events website and its membership and registration services. Any separately presented membership agreement, society bylaws or event-specific terms continue to apply. This page does not create a separate event waiver.
Responsible use
Provide accurate information, submit only information you are authorized to provide and use the website for lawful purposes. Do not impersonate someone, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service or upload malicious content.
Membership and eligibility
Membership applications are subject to Gujarati Community Events review and applicable eligibility requirements. A submitted application or payment alone does not establish approval. Member-only events are restricted to the eligible members and immediate family described in the event notice.
Event registration
Read the current event information before registering. Registration may depend on membership validation, available capacity, payment and the stated deadline. Fees and child admission categories are those displayed for that event. Contact Gujarati Community Events promptly to correct an error or request an accommodation.
Payments, cancellations and refunds
Use the payment instructions published for the relevant membership or event. Do not send funds to an unverified address. Event-specific cancellation and refund conditions, when published, apply subject to applicable law. Where no refund policy is published, contact Gujarati Community Events before paying; this page does not establish a blanket no-refund rule.
Submissions and photographs
You must have permission to submit another person’s information or an image. Publication of identifiable photographs or personal details requires an appropriate consent or other lawful basis. Attendance or website use alone is not blanket permission for publicity.
Website content and external services
Respect copyright and other rights in text, logos, photographs and flyers. Third-party services have their own terms. Obtain permission before reproducing material beyond what applicable law allows.
Privacy and account security
Read the Privacy Policy for information handling. Keep admin credentials confidential, sign out on shared devices and report suspected misuse. Do not attempt to access administration without authorization.
Changes and applicable law
Terms may be updated prospectively and the updated date will be shown. Material changes affecting an existing registration should be communicated where appropriate. Applicable British Columbia and Canadian law governs, without limiting mandatory consumer or privacy protections.
